Bernie Boylan has 30 years of fund management experience spanning various Investment
Management, Private Equity and Venture Capital institutions.
Bernie began his private equity career at LGV Capital where he spent 7 years and was responsible
for legacy direct private equity and mezzanine investments, external fund commitments, secondary
transactions, and oversight of the valuation and reporting process to LPs.
Bernie has since spent 14 years at Mithras Capital Partners, LLP as a Managing Partner / Co-
Founder. As Managing Partner, Bernie was responsible for fund investment as well as accounting,
investor relations and reporting and the oversight of staff and third-party service providers. During this
period Bernie also acted as investment manager to Mithras Investment Trust plc, a UK listed private
equity investment trust, from 2009 until 2018 following the completion of a successful realisation
strategy. Most recently Bernie has acted as an interim CFO to Bridge Valley Ventures LLP, a life
sciences ventures firm.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has a Postgraduate
Certificate in Corporate Finance from the London Business School.
