Erlendur founded Total Capital Partners with Natalie Eastham in 2008. He started his career in finance in the late 1980s, having previously worked in international shipping and in intercultural education.
He worked at Scandinavian Bank, Nomura and Islandsbanki, where amongst other things he served on the Management Board and led the establishment and growth of the leveraged finance, mezzanine finance and integrated finance teams in Europe.
Erlendur retired in October 2021 but remains a Director of its General Partner firm and an observer on Total Capital Partners’ Investment Committee. Erlendur holds an MSc (Econ) in International Relations from The London School of Economics & Political Science.
